Yu has also been an active participant in the DC Building Industry Association’s Community Improvement Day since 2004. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects’ Washington, DC Chapter as well as NCARB. Yu worked as an intern for VanTine | Guthrie Studio of Architecture, now inFORM Studio, in Northville, Michigan. Prior to joining Cunningham | Quill Architects, Ms. INFORM Studio (INFORM) is a woman-owned architectural and design practice with offices in metro Detroit and Chicago. Her award-winning work has been featured in Home & Design magazine. She has worked on homes of all styles and scales, ranging from modern condominiums to historic single-family homes. Yu has led single family residential projects across the Metropolitan DC area.
